Pine Springs Camp Ministry
Many of our children and youth have had a vital encounter with Jesus Christ at our beloved Pine Springs Camp! We hope you are able to stop back as we share these devotionals for you!
Sunday School
Our children’s Sunday School begins at 9:30 am from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The children occasionally practice special music to share during the worship service, or even collaborate in writing new songs of praise as they make a joyful noise!
There are three children’s classes (3, 4 & 5 year olds, 6 & 7 year olds, and 8 through 12 year olds). Our Sunday School hour concludes with a snack and a fun craft to reinforce the the main point of the day's lesson.
Children's Sermon
Children are invited and encouraged to participate together with their families during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. All children are loved and valued as members of our worshipping community and we embrace their presence as Jesus taught us. The Children’s sermon is part of the larger service, as all children are welcomed to come to the front of the sanctuary for a special moment geared just for them. Pastor Derek relates the main idea of the Sunday sermon through stories, object lessons, audience participation and scripture.
Childcare guidelines
Nursery is provided for ages 3 and under. All childcare workers have current clearances as required by state and federal law. For the well-being of all our little ones, we ask that you refrain from using the nursery if you child has had a fever or shown other signs of sickness in the past 24 hours. All personal belongings such as diaper bags, bottles and sippy-cups should be labeled with your child’s name. Please let our staff know if you child has any food allergies or other special needs.
